Unifor have added a stylish new addition to their list of GECA licensed furniture - the Physix Chair. It's a fusion of form and function, where ergonomic structure meets modern aesthetics. It's also a better choice for the environment, human health, and has a lower social impact, since it meets all the criteria of GECA's Furniture, Fittings and Foam standard.

According to Unifor, the chair's structure is "based on the idea of creating a continuous seat shell by stretching a single textile panel between two side members." Designer Alberto Meda chose a flexible frame construction, an elastic cover and a stabilising mechanism to produce a task chair that offers a dynamic sitting experience.

The concept of  'dynamic sitting', also called 'active sitting', refers to the small but crucial movements that office workers are strongly encouraged to perform while sitting throughout the day. Unfortunately, the construction of many standard office chairs do little to help in this regard. The Physix chair is flexible, promoting a dynamic sitting experience and helping users lean towards a healthier lifestyle.

Physix is available as an office swivel chair and also with a four-star base in the version Physix Conference.
